I am Maurice

thank you for visiting my website.

I am a designer living in Zurich/Switzerland and currently finished my work for Print Matters!.

In 2019 I finished my bachelor in Design with the specialization Trends & Identity. Trends & Identity examines lifestyles and thing cultures, analyzes trends, fashions and identities. By means of design, it takes a critical and enthusiastic position on social change. Within the six semester course we developed concepts, design products and implemented services. Cultural studies research and design-ethnographic methods complement and deepen the perspectives of design.

 After four semesters I took a break for an exchange semester at Concordia University in Montréal, Canada as well as different internships: for six months I worked for Swiss fashion Designer Julian Zigerli. After this I joined the lifestyle resort of NZZ am Sonntag for 18 months. Here I began to work as a journalist and stylist and got to know the world of media.

After my studies I opened the shop Print Matters! in Zurich. The store which focuses on independent magazines lasted for almost three years before I had to close it due to COVID-19.
